This is a most amusing village scene. The artist Pieter Brueghel the Younger was born in Belgium in the sixteenth century and he captured the seasonal cheer of the farming community with much style and flair. He shows off Flemish peasant life to the full with humor, detail, and realism. The people are celebrating one of the many festivals that punctuated their lives. The wooden The Village Festival puzzle is made in the UK from eco-friendly materials, the pieces are cut in such a way that there are no corner pieces and the irregular shapes make it more challenging to complete. A cloth drawstring bag is included in the box to keep the pieces in so they remain dust free. Best of all is the inclusion of whimsies, specially-shaped pieces that reflect the theme of the jigsaw puzzle. Search these out first, as they make the whole puzzling experience extra special. The 250 piece puzzle has an assembled size measure of 14” x 10” and comes in a quality box perfect for storage.
