Vive Notre Dame! 1000 Piece Puzzle

Down but certainly not out after a devastating fire. Jean-Jacques Loup, the late artist of this Notre Dame puzzle, passed away in 2015 and didn't live to see the 2019 fire making his cheerful artwork all the more poignant. Vive Notre Dame! depicts an assortment of cartoon characters in, around and on the Notre Dame cathedral. It is vibrant and full of life. The artist's architectural background translates well and makes the building unmistakable for what it is, a great monument in building history. The 1000 piece Notre Dame puzzle is made by Heye and when completed will measure 50 x 70 cm. Made in Germany.

Warning: Choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under 3.

Vive Notre Dame

This puzzle was a lot of fun to put together. All the characters made it interesting. It was a bit of a challenge and took a little longer than some, but held our interest. We usually keep them around for a few days after putting them together and this was one we enjoyed looking at for a few more days after completing and noticing different expressions on the characters.

harder then it looks

we've done many puzzles and have a good idea of their difficulty this one fooled us. we usually finish a 1000 pieces puzzle in 3 or 4 days this one took a week

Fabulous Loup's cartoon of Notre Dame

Solid 5 stars for high quality of print and puzzle construction, it's an absolute joy to build while WFH; A few surprises: (1) this is a newer release than 2003 version and it indeed has more characters milling out than the ebay picture i could find; galaxypuzzle online picture is truly the puzzle you receive; (2) this came in rectangular box not a triangle and no poster enclosed, it's sufficient as reference but would have preferred a poster;(3) completed puzzle measured 27"x 19" interlocked well enough to be lifted without falling apart. I also highly recommend this brand Heye.

I’m a big fan of Loup. This was a great puzzle. The building had enough variation that it wasn’t impossible. I love his characters and if I had one wish it would be to have more characters milling about.
