A workshop where everything has a place and a there is a place for everything. In fact, there is everything, anyone could ever need, to get the job done in this quaint shed. The charming image of a young girl enjoying time in her grandad’s workshop is perfect for stimulating conversation and allowing one to reminisce about the past. Grandad's Workshop has especially been designed for people with limited sight or difficulties with fine motor control. The puzzle, manufactured in the United Kingdom, has 40 large pieces and is made with durable quality board. The image boasts expert detail, created by the talented artist Michael Herring; sadly though, ‘Grandad’s Workshop’ was his last painting. The puzzle is also aimed at those living with dementia; the choice of colors and objects drawn in the shed allow the person doing the jigsaw to relax into the activity. There is a sense of yesteryear about seeing the girl play so nicely with her doll’s house, no doubt handmade by Grandad. This puzzle would be a delight to do on one’s own, as well as being an enjoyable shared activity.
