Notice anything amiss about the library books? Library Cat features a gorgeous cat sitting among the library books. Yet, this has to be a home library and not a public or university library. Why? No call numbers or stickers on the spines. Despite that, this is one incredible cat library puzzle for those fortunate enough to buy it. It has 1000 pieces, a pretty cat and an assortment of old volumes of books. In addition, it would look great on your library wall when completed.
Warning: Choking hazard. Small pieces. Not for children under 3.
This was the first Cobble Hill I ever did and now I’m a true fan. I’ve always enjoyed random cuts which really helped in building this very challenging puzzle. The crew at Galaxy also do a great job.
I thought this puzzle might be too dark to be interesting and fun, but that was not the case. It was fun putting the old books together, and the cat is a beauty. The puzzle was quite difficult but made more interesting by having pieces of irregular shapes that fit together in odd ways— not that common in 1,000 piece puzzles I’ve met.
The cat in this puzzle could easily have been my big black kitty Mr. Bill, which is why I originally ordered it. Bill "helped" get the puzzle done in just a couple sittings (I sat at the table, and he sat on me), and it was a ton of fun!
